A Soothing Citrus & Lavender Milk Bath

lavendercitrusmilkbath1.jpg

If I am being completely honest... One of my all time favorite things on the planet is a nice hot bath. There is just something about the ability to sit and soak in the delightfully sudsy water. Scented candles flickering around me as I ease into the slightly too hot (but in the most wonderful way) water. A good book waiting to be read or some soothing music streaming lightly from my phone. If you ask me, it is one of the most simple, yet also great joys in this life.

And if you can believe it, there are even ways to up your everyday bath game. I can teach you to take it from relaxing to so mind boggling spectacular that you may even forget how horrible the Game of Thrones series finale was... Or whatever other (probably more relevant) issue that may be causing unwanted stress in your life! That's why I am going to show you how easy it is to make a simple but oh so soothing citrus and lavender milk bath right now!

VARIETY

Now the real beauty of this kind bath, is that it is so easily customizable based on what you like, as well as what you have access to. For me, I simply used things that I had on hand... Almond milk, some lavender Epsom salts and various sliced up citrus fruits! The combination that created this particular milk bath has become one of my all time favorites!! The fresh scent of the citrus combined with the relaxing properties of the lavender were perfect! And the almond milk left my skin feeling super soft!! And of course, I couldn't help myself... I had to add in some florals... And I don't regret it for a second... Because seriously, I felt like a princess in this tub!
